Why don't you use metal amalgam?+
Modern composite resins are as or more durable, more aesthetic, and don't require removing additional healthy tooth to anchor them. It's what current dentistry recommends.
How long does a composite filling last?+
With good hygiene and regular check-ups, between 7 and 15 years. Durability depends on size, location and your habits (bruxism, diet).
Does the procedure hurt?+
With modern local anesthesia, no. You'll feel pressure, not pain. Post-op is minimal: occasional mild sensitivity for a day or two.
When do I need a crown instead?+
If the tooth has lost more than 50% of its structure or has major fractures, a crown protects better than a filling. We tell you honestly during evaluation.
How much does it cost?+
Depends on size and number of surfaces restored. We give a clear quote after diagnosis. We accept insurance and offer accessible plans.
