TMJ · Bruxism · Aesthetics

Dental Botox that takes care of your jaw as much as your smile.

Precise applications to ease tension, reduce nighttime bruxism and harmonize your smile — led by a dentist specialized in TMJ.

At Nüve we use botulinum toxin with two approaches: clinical — for jaw pain, tension headaches, nighttime bruxism and temporomandibular joint dysfunction (TMJ) — and aesthetic — to soften lines around the smile or correct a gummy smile. The difference from a medspa: every application is decided and performed by a dentist who understands the full mechanics of your mouth, not just your skin.

What sets us apart

Led by a TMJ specialist

Dr. Eduardo Guzmán leads the TMJ program at Nüve and supervises every case. Your jaw and smile are in a dentist's hands, not an aesthetician's.

Dual purpose: clinical and aesthetic

We work both functional cases (bruxism, jaw pain) and aesthetic cases (gummy smile, perioral lines) — many patients benefit from both.

Quick procedure, no downtime

Sessions take minutes. You go back to your day immediately, with clear instructions for the first few hours.

Natural results

Doses calculated so the improvement shows, not the intervention. Your smile stays yours — just more relaxed.

Your process, step by step

01

Clinical evaluation

We review your bite, jaw and goals. We tell you honestly whether Botox is the best option — or if you need a different approach.

02

Personalized plan

We define application zones, dosing and combination with other treatments if appropriate (night guard, physical therapy).

03

In-clinic application

15–20 minute procedure with precise technique and minimal discomfort.

04

Follow-up

Review at 2 weeks to confirm results and fine-tune if needed. We explain when to repeat.

Frequently asked questions

Is this the same Botox they apply at a medspa?+

Yes — the toxin is the same. The difference is who applies it and why: here it's done by a dentist focused on the health of your jaw and smile, not an aesthetician focused only on skin.

How long does the effect last?+

Generally 3 to 4 months. After that it metabolizes and, if you want to maintain the effect, the application is repeated. Many patients find they need lower doses over time.

Does it really help with bruxism?+

Yes, when applied to the masseter muscle. It reduces the force with which you clench and grind — relieving pain, tension headaches and protecting your teeth. It doesn't replace a night guard in every case, but it complements it.

Does the application hurt?+

Minimal discomfort — fine needles and precise technique. Most patients describe it as less uncomfortable than a routine dental injection.

How much does it cost?+

It depends on the zones treated and dosing. We give you a clear quote after your evaluation. Accessible payment plans available.
